The Baseball is the primary sport in Venezuela, It was introduced to the country by the foreign fellows of the United States whom were in charge of the production of oil.
Baseball started as a professional sport in 1946 league called Liga Venezolana de Beisbol Profesional (LVBP). This idea was induced by four man: Juan Antonio Yanez, Carlos Lavaud, Luis Pimentel and Juan Reggetti. Whom decided to create a league the December 27th of 1945. The league started with four teams and has change with the pass of time and with the lack of money:

In the season 2007-2008 the team Pastora changed owners and began to be Bravos de Margarita, they move to the beautiful island of Margarita. And since ther the league has stayed the same.

The rise of football in Caracas motivated the leaders of the "High Court of Honor" and the capital's teams to the creation of the National Football Federation in 1925.
On 1 December a meeting was held attended by representatives of the Centro Atletico, Venzóleo, Venezuela, Caracas Sport, Barcelona, Loyola, Union, Nueva Esparta, Alliance, Cid and Freedom, and elected the Board of Directors was elected as President of the Captain John Jones Parra, Vice President Victor Brito Alfonzo, Secretary Father Gastamiza Feliciano and Treasurer Henry Rodemaker.
Born the National Football Federation, which is responsible for leading the way football official from 1926, which organized the first championship, which opened on Sunday January 31 with the match between Atletico and Venzoleo Center.
The lack of an organizational structure led away to the National Federation and this led to the Venezuelan League Soccer in 1932, which ran until the end of 1938. For 1939 is named the National Football Association.In 1951 started the new national Football organizational change and came up the current Federacion Venezolana de Futbol wich was is recognized by FIFA and the Venezuelan Olympic Committee.
